Jamie Smart has revealed that he is working on a new partwork for Doctor Who.
The BBC has commissioned the Ubu Bubu cartoonist to produce the magazine series after he produced a sample issue featuring material from the forthcoming television series earlier in the year.
"Word came in a little while ago that it had gone well, they were to roll the magazine out across the UK, and would I consider carrying on?" wrote Smart on his blog.
"A long-term contract like this, to produce weekly work for over a year, is usually a dream to freelancers, but I did have concerns. There are already a handful of other projects I need to be working on next year, and I've been real worried that I'm trying to take too much on.
"But then the sense of reason kicks in - it's Dr Sodding Who. What an opportunity."

The Magazine will launch in Spring next year, it will go on sale for around £2.99 - £4.99
