Doctor Who boss Steven Moffat has said he will not bring back Ianto Jones, played by Gareth David Lloyd despite desperate pleas from fans. The BBC have received thousands of complaints from viewers desperate to see him back on spin-off Torchwood. Steven said in an interview "Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures are still Russell T Davies, they have nothing to do with me". Also he has written a kind of mini-message to fans: "Ianto fans only: Russel's character, and I thought his death scene was brilliant. Not reversing it, stop asking!". After that as a final message he added "Torchwood is Russell's - nothing to do with me".
